Cactus Jack Design Ethos Scholars Class of 2026 at the Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala

Three new Cactus Jack Design Ethos Scholars were honored as part of the ongoing multi-year partnership between the Cactus Jack Foundation and the Fashion Scholarship Fund — a program that follows the acclaimed Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” FSF Scholarship.
Tuesday, March 24 (New York, NY) — Travis Scott, on behalf of his Cactus Jack Foundation, introduced the newest group of Cactus Jack Design Ethos Scholars at the Annual Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) LIVE Gala. Held at The Glasshouse, the evening celebrated a year of impact and the newest class of FSF and Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholars, including three Cactus Jack Design Ethos Scholars: Cameroun Blount (North Carolina A&T State University), Caira Coleman (Spelman College), and Jasmine Cox (Savannah College of Art and Design).
The gala honored influential figures from the fashion and creative industries — including fashion editor and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, PVH Corp CEO Stefan Larsson, and image architect Law Roach — alongside Grammy-winning global icon Ciara and Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson, who brought energy and excitement to the night.
Scott’s presence follows the launch of the Cactus Jack Design Ethos 101 Program, an online initiative — unveiled at last year’s Cactus Jack HBCU Softball Classic — that immerses aspiring creatives in the world that shaped his Cactus Jack brand. Part of the broader partnership with the Fashion Scholarship Fund, it offers hands-on workshops and a competition where multiple winners receive scholarships and the opportunity to work alongside the Cactus Jack team at the Cact.us Design Center in Houston, Texas. The program follows the acclaimed Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholarship FSF Program led by Farai Simoyi.
Cactus Design Center & Space Center Houston Host STEM Incubator Student Showcase

For the conclusion of the fall engineering incubator program, HISD students presented their designs to Travis Scott, Space Center leaders and NASA astronaut Megan McArthur.
December 20, 2025 – Houston, TX – Last night, Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Design Center and Space Center Houston, the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center, launched their year‑round partnership, showcasing Houston Independent School District students’ science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) designs as part of the conclusion of the fall engineering incubator program.
The unprecedented incubator program ideated by Cactus Jack Foundation in collaboration with Space Center Houston includes design to computer coding and fabrication. The program delivered an engineering‑focused fall 2025 curriculum that paired HISD students with NASA engineers was hosted at both Cact.Us Design Center & Space Center Houston on alternate weeks of the 8 week program allowing students to experience design, education at both locations.
Students formed design teams and participated in the full engineering process, starting from brainstorming and prototyping to executing testing and then refining their solutions. They created projects covering a wide range of topics, including a lunar water filtration system, a lunar exploration rover, and a habitat structure for food preservation. The designs were presented to Travis Scott and retired NASA astronaut and Space Center Houston Chief Science Officer Megan McArthur, alongside Space Center Houston education leaders.
Cactus Jack 6th Annual ‘Winter Wonderland’

The Cactus Jack Foundation ‘Winter Wonderland’ provided over 1,000 Houstonians with food, toys, and essential goods for the local Houston, Texas community.
December 22, 2025 – Houston, TX – This weekend, Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation hosted their Sixth Annual Winter Wonderland theme park and holiday drive in Houston, Texas for the local community.
Taking place Saturday, December 20th at Texas Southern University (TSU), the annual Cactus Jack Foundation’s Sixth Annual Winter Wonderland is in partnership with the Webster family alma mater. The Houston Food Bank provided over 1,000 families in the Houston community with food, toys, and essential goods.
At the lively event hosted at TSU’s Student Center, the Cactus Jack Foundation, alongside the Houston Food Bank, provided over 1,300 toys and bags of food for over 2,000 children. The event featured a Winter Wonderland-themed outdoor inflatable pop-up park for children, complete with a giant bounce house and a special visit from Santa Claus. Scott’s clothing boutique, the Cactus Jack Space Village, had a pop-up store with exclusive limited-edition merchandise.

Softball Classic

The third annual Cactus Jack HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic brought together the biggest figures in sports and entertainment, featuring an all-star player lineup including Tyla, Metro Boomin, and C.J. Stroud to celebrate HBCU excellence and the game of baseball Featuring a special ceremony honoring Waymond Webster HBCU Scholarship recipients and Scott's grandmothers. This year's classic brought back the second-ever Cactus Jack Social Impact Village, providing essential resources from over 20 community organizations.
Cactus Design Center Fashion Scholarship Fund Launch

Ahead of the Third Annual Celebrity Softball Classic, the Cactus Jack Foundation launched the "Cactus Jack Design Ethos 101 Program" in partnership with the Fashion Scholarship Fund at the CACT.US Design Center.
Announcing new Cactus Jack scholars Jordan Dixon, Amaya Evans, and Bliss-Nurah Mack, who each received a $10,000 award. Students from HBCUs and Space Center Houston also received the opportunity to attend exclusive workshops on sneaker design led by Cactus Jack designer Paul Savovici, and featured a private art show by young Houston artists.
Cactus Jack Night at Houston Astros Youth Academy

To kick off Cactus Jack Community Action Week, the Cactus Jack Foundation partnered with Raising Cane’s, Nike, and the Houston Astros Foundation to host a youth baseball and softball clinic at the Astros Youth Academy.
This hands-on clinic was led by two-time MLB All-Star, Michael Bourn, and focused on providing local youth with fundamental baseball and softball skills. The clinic, which hosted 60 youth participants, included training on fielding, hitting, agility, and teamwork, with the goal of inspiring the next generation of athletes. The event marked the beginning of Community Action Week, with Scott and his foundation emphasizing the importance of mentorship and skill-building for young people in Houston.
Cactus Jack Gardens 11th Garden Dedication to Miss Sealie & Bernice Webster

To conclude Cactus Jack community action week, Travis Scott, his grandmothers Sealie Flood + Bernice Webster Corner, unveiled the 11th Cactus Jack Garden at Highland Heights Elementary in Houston, Texas, honoring his grandmothers and supporting the Foundation’s efforts to address food insecurity, educate on agriculture and sustainability, and empower youth.
The dedication ceremony, hosted in collaboration with the Houston Independent School District (HISD) and local community partners, brought together students, community leaders, and Scott’s family to celebrate the occasion. During the garden unveiling, students planted a tree in honor of his grandmothers Miss Sealie Flood (maternal) and Bernice Webster (paternal) and received custom Cactus Jack Foundation aprons, gloves, seed kits, tools, and masks to encourage hands-on learning during the event.
Cactus Jack Foundation Hurricane Beryl Relief

Cactus Jack Foundation hosts Hurrican Beryl emergency relief drive with the Houston Food Bank, providing food and water distribution, serving 2,000 Houston families who are currently without power and affected by the storm.
Travis Scott & Cactus Jack Foundation launch hotel grant fund with Houston Responds during relief drive to provide temporary housing for displaced local Houston residents
Missouri City, TX — July 17th — Yesterday, Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Foundation, in partnership with the Houston Food Bank, hosted an emergency Hurricane Beryl Relief drive in Missouri City, Texas. Hurricane Beryl caused severe flooding and widespread power outages, impacting nearly 3 million homes and businesses and tragically resulting in the loss of at least eight lives. To provide relief and support, the foundation distributed essential aid, including water, ice, food, and other items, to residents of Texas communities devastated by the storm through a drive-through system, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Over 2 million residents are currently without power in Missouri City, making this location the ideal distribution point to focus efforts, and serve 2,000 local families.
During the drive, the Cactus Jack Foundation, in partnership with disaster response organization Houston Responds, launched an emergency hotel grant fund to provide temporary housing for displaced Houston residents without electricity due to Hurricane Beryl. This emergency program helps families find immediate shelter in nearby hotels, offering crucial relief during this challenging time. Residents attending the drive were encouraged to apply on-site for housing grants to receive hotel vouchers. In attendance, on behalf of the Cactus Jack Foundation, were Scott’s family, including his mother, brother, and sister Jordan Webster, the foundation’s spokesperson.
This collaboration rapid response initiative represents a significant step toward addressing the immediate housing and essential needs of those affected by Hurricane Beryl. By combining resources and expertise, the Cactus Jack Foundation, Houston Food Bank and Houston Responds collectively aim to provide a safety net for families without power, ensuring they have a secure and comfortable place to stay and access to necessary items as they navigate the aftermath of the hurricane.

Event Took Place During 2nd Annual Cactus Jack Three-Day HBCU Collegiate Softball Classic to Continue the Foundation’s Commitment to Provide Paths to Success Through Education for Local Houston Youth
February 15, 2024 — Yesterday, Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation, in conjunction with Project H.E.A.L., hosted ART.US, a private curated art show, featuring the work of 13 young Houston artists, who are currently enrolled at the state-of-the-art Cact.Us Design Center’s TXRX LABS Sneaker Design Program. ART.US served as an intimate evening that featured a tour of the school, programs, and local artwork, while also previewing the CACT.US Sneaker Lab program, a Spring 2024 design class presented by the Cactus Jack Foundation.
The evening’s guest speaker, Reggie Saunders, the Vice President of Entertainment Marketing at Nike, shared insights about his background, career, and signing Travis Scott with the 35 ART.US students in attendance. Saunders’ anecdotes helped deepen the holistic curriculum of manufacturing, job training, design thinking, and entrepreneurship that the Cact.Us Design Center aims to provide Houston youth.

February 17, 2024 — On Thursday, Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation, in conjunction with Project H.E.A.L, debuted their first-ever Cactus Jack Social Impact Village. The first-of-its-kind activation, powered by Fanatics, hosted over 20 Houston-based organizations and served as an experiential hub for civic and community resource partners to educate the Houston community on their service offerings. The Social Impact Village is located on the main concourse of Minute Maid Park for attendees of the Cactus Jack HBCU Softball Classic to explore.
Community organization partners who presented at the Cactus Jack Social Impact Village included Houston Independent School Districts, Black United Fund of Texas, 100 Black Men of Houston, African American Men Wellness Agency, the Astros Foundation, Cact.Us Design Centers TXRX Labs, City of Houston Controller Office, Houston Texans YMCA, Depelchin, Smartie Pants Academy, Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation, Houston Independent School District, Houston Strong Children Services, Protect Our Culture, Ship Black University, Tech Fest Live, the Gulf Coast Workforce Board, and Volunteers of America.

Annual Winter Wonderland Toy Drive
Each year Cactus Jack Foundation provides toys and essential goods to thousands of Houston underserved families. In 2023 Over 1,000 Houston Families, Alongside Scott’s Family, Distributed 3,000 Toys, and 25,000 Lbs of Food Distributed to the Community & an Outdoor Pop Up Winter Wonderland Outdoor Park at the Houston Opportunity Center - Newly Opened Center to Provide Educational Reform & Support for Juvenile Justice System
Earth Day
The student-focused inaugural Earth Day event involved cleaning up the school’s existing garden, building additional garden beds, and planting twenty new trees, including a "Peace Tree" to encourage students to resolve their conflicts without violence.
