Waymon Webster HBCU Scholarship Fund

It is a cause that is important to Travis Scott given his family's longtime legacy studying, working and supporting HBCUs: his mother Wanda attended Grambling University, his father Jacque went to Prairie View A&M, where his brother Josh currently studies and his sister Jordan graduated from Howard University last year.
His grandfather, Waymon Webster, was an alumnus and dean of Prairie View A&M graduate school and is the namesake for the Waymon Webster Scholarships given out by the Cactus Jack Foundation, which helps HBCU students who are experiencing last-minute financial adversity graduate on-time.
For the second consecutive year in 2022 and in conjunction with Travis Scott’s Project H.E.A.L. initiative, the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund granted $1,000,000 in scholarships to 100 graduating HBCU seniors.

CACT.US Design Center x TXRX LABS
The CACT.US DESIGN CENTER at TXRX Labs is a 2 year project in development by Cactus Jack Foundation. Opened on November 3rd, 2021 with hundreds of middle and high school students enrolled who are passionate about design and engineering. The fully operational 60,000 square foot state of the art facility located in Houston, Texas.

The new design center is a permanent innovative hub and transformational youth center connecting at-risk high school students to educational resources, hands-on training, and mentorship that will unlock new pathways to career, college, and workforce opportunities in graphic and fashion design.
The design center offers a variety of classes and workshops ranging from CNC Router + Cam, 3D Printing, Powder Coating, Vacuum Forming, Woodworking, Ceramics, Laser Cutting, Welding, Woodworking, CNC Plasma Cutting, and many more. Hundreds of students are now already enrolled for the Spring Semester & for Summer programs and the school is now expanding to service students across greater Houston. The center is committed to teaching the skills these youth need to build a future full of novelty and inspiration.
Sneaker Lab is a design-focused fashion program providing creative high school students in the Houston area a window in the world of design driven fabrication and manufacturing.
